4 Tips for Worry Free Bartending Service
Whether you choose our full-service beverage catering for an all-inclusive open bar at one low price per person, or a fully licensed cash bar for a more budget-friendly option, these 4 tips will set your mind at ease and really help you to enjoy your own party.
1. Only hire Certified Bartenders
Our certified bartenders are trained in safe alcohol service, helping reduce liability and ensure responsible drinking. They’ll spot overconsumption, manage intoxicated guests, and give you peace of mind so you can enjoy your event.
2. Only use an Insured Bartending Service
You are protected from liability by hiring our fully insured bartending service that includes liquor liability, general liability, and workers’ comp.
3. Be Aware of Underage Guests
Underage drinking is illegal and can result in severe penalties. Our bartenders are trained to spot under aged guests trying to procure alcoholic beverage
4. Tipping: How Much and When?
Unless you request to place tip cups at the bar, our bartenders are not permitted to solicit tips from your guests at an open bar. It’s then customary for the host to tip the bartenders an amount commensurate with the service provided. We recommend a minimum of $25 for each hour of beverage service for each bartender. Cash bars will have the requisite tip cups unless other arrangements have been made.
These are general guidelines—consult your insurance and legal advisors for more specific advice.
